hey beth, congrats on the new job! working at home will be a challenge not to succumb to the perils of cabin fever. now that i'm working and out of the house all the time, i'm really craving some nice chill out time at home. the grass is always greener. damn.

Beth- I got your letter today and did the tea leaf reading.
You share a birthday with one of my closest friends and Gwen Stefani!
To answer your question, I did not see and obstacles,per se. Also you shouldn't see it as your "attempt" to beomce creatively successful but as your "path" or "journey". And also know that success is internal. Especially creative success; its firstly about being close to your inner creativity wich is to say your true self,unfetterd and without "hangups" and insecurities. This is a constant learning process (duh) but I just thought I'd add that in.
Things in your way, wich I really can't call obstcles are doing too much "preparation",double checking,waiting,hesitating an demanding too much perfection. You're ready.
Caretaking of others,doing things for others- this dilutes your focus somewhat. You need to set some stricter boundaries on your time that you devote to creative things. Also things that you might do that feel like extravagant pampering are really not. Carve out a little more time for yourself and dont feel guilty about goodies and fun stuff...
Is there an R person or place thats been very influential in your life?
There seems to be alot of influence from your mother especially in tthe area of home and lifestyle.
Also i get a sense of hygene,cleanliness and order.Not that you are nececarily neat-clean,yes.
You are self reliant,practical,with a well devloped ego,intellegent and basically optimistic.Also with a sense for and intrest in fashion.
While I was doing the reading i kept thinking of that song "Up up and away...in my beautiful,my beautiful balooooon"
Take flight with your creative plans/ideas. Just spread your wings. A cliche, I know. But you have the talent. Its just a matter of jumping up and taking flight.
Is there a dachsund in your life?
I also see love/romance with a T person who lives at the end of a route or road. Someone you have to travel a little ways to see (or meet!)
