COMMENTS: kleenex's response

animators, hah! it's amazing how large a team of 'experts' they have deciding the design for the boxes, i think that pretty much eliminates the possibility of them providing something to your liking, considering your suggestion is something simple. how could the animator justify his/her position if the group consensus was, 'let's put out a solid turquoise box.'?

A reason always to send complaints to corporations on hard copy in envelopes through the U.S. mail: when they reply to you they will include a bunch of coupons so you can then get a lot of what you complained about for free.
Also, I think any communication from Kleenex should close with "Bless you."

I got a box of kleenex that had The Incredibles (from the movie) on it. Maybe the animators worked on that. Or maybe they are working on a "flip-book" concept, where if you pull tissues out fast enough they tell a story.

The followup, of course, is when you can no longer find the design you currently have, write in to LOUDLY complain that they dropped your favorite design, how dare they, etc etc.

I used to send out rejection letters to people who sent in their show proposals to PBS. I had a folder of form letters and would cut and paste from those and do a little fill in the blank... and PRESTO!!!

The Kleenex letter totally reeks of that.

Speaking of Kleenex, I was surfing the web and found that March Records used my picture of Graham Smith of Kleenex Girl Wonder and did not credit me.

Look!! http://www.marchrecords.com/artists/artist.asp?id=50

I guess that letter is definitely somewhat copy and paste, but the "will provided" definitely indicates that someone was really truly typing words.

What does a color technichian do?
